Strategy & creative

Strategy that ends up in the frame.

I work with brands and programs on what their visuals actually need to achieve — then shoot the work that achieves it. One person from the brief to the delivered gallery, so the thinking and the execution never come apart.

What I do

What I bring to the table

01

Strategy before the shoot

We start with where the images are going and what they have to earn — a feed, a donation page, a storefront, a recruiting deck. The shot list comes out of that, not out of habit.

02

Creative that executes it

I shoot the plan myself, so nothing gets lost between the person who decided and the person holding the camera. Sport, brand, product and portrait work.

03

Systems you keep

Presets, shot lists, crop sets and lighting setups handed over in writing, so your team can repeat the look without me on every job.

Let's connect

Let's think it through before we shoot it.

Bring me a problem rather than a shot list, and we'll work out the shot list together. I answer every message myself.

Who's behind it

I'm Jack Hawkins. Seven Spades Media is me — I work with brands and programs around Alabama on what their visuals should be doing, then shoot the work that does it.

I started on the sidelines of games nobody was covering, which taught me the part most people skip: a photo only matters if it gets used. So I shoot for the destination. A program needs frames tonight; a brand needs them in three crops; a recruiter needs one that works at thumbnail size.

Working alone means the person who sets the strategy is the person holding the camera. Nothing gets lost in a handoff, and you always know who to call.

I'm building toward creative direction — the thinking behind the frame as much as the frame itself. That's why every project here starts with where the pictures are going.
